Abigail Kan

Abigail delivers valuable services in Canadian domestic and international corporate and personal tax planning, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, business advisory, as well as estate and wealth planning.

With over 20 years of experience practicing tax at international and regional accounting firms as well as the Canada Revenue Agency, Abigail demonstrates great depth and breadth of knowledge while advising her clients in various industries. Industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution, import/export, automotive, information technology, real estate, financial institutions, resource, pharmaceutical, legal and medical professional, and service industries. Her client base mainly comprised of companies carrying on business and investments in Canada and internationally, their shareholders, as well as high net worth individuals.

Joining GCSE in 2019, Abigail provides value-added tax and business advisory services to clients of the firm.

Abigail is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and former tutor at the CPA’s In-Depth Tax Course. She is a frequent speaker at tax conferences and contributing editor of various tax and business publications. She also acted as president of her high school alumnae, and mentor for graduating students at the University of Toronto.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and various activities in town.
