Mark Tang

Mark specializes in providing tax advisory, tax compliance and accounting services to private owner-managed businesses and their families.  He offers valuable insight and guidance to his clients in organizing their affairs in a tax-efficient manner throughout the business’ life cycle.  Mark regularly advises on matters including estate and succession planning, compensation strategies and can assist in resolving disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Prior to joining GCSE, Mark had his own accounting and tax practice working primarily with entrepreneurs and small businesses. He started his career in 2007 at a local accounting firm before joining a national accounting firm where he focused on tax for private enterprises as a Senior Tax Manager.  Mark is committed to providing exemplary service to his clients.

Mark is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and has completed all 3 levels of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course.  He is a facilitator with the In-Depth Tax Program and has also instructed CPA students with the tax modules for CPA Ontario.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters.  He is an avid sports fan and closely follows the Raptors, Blue Jays and the Green Bay Packers.
